Who's responsible

Hindsight with Leon is produced by Leon's parents, who are responsible for all data, mail and accounts (the "data controller"). Contact a grown-up at hello@hindsightwithleon.com.

What we collect & why

• Website analytics (Google Analytics). Only if you choose Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser) so we can improve it. Legal basis: your consent. Analytics stays off unless you accept.
• Launch notifications. If you enter your email in "Notify me," we use it only to tell you when the show launches. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe any time.
• Consent form. If you complete the consent form, we collect your name, email, any message, and the permissions you gave, to run the show and honour your consent. Legal basis: consent and our legitimate interest in running the show.
• Postcards. If you mail a postcard, we handle your written message and anything on the card. A grown-up opens all mail.

Cookies

We set no analytics cookies until you click "Accept." If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to measure usage. We also store your cookie choice in your browser (a small hwl-consent value) so we don't keep asking — that isn't a tracking cookie.

Sharing

We never sell your information. Analytics data is processed by Google, and email/newsletter data by our email provider (e.g. Kit); these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Keeping it & your rights

We keep information only as long as we need it to run the show. Under UK data-protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent — just email hello@hindsightwithleon.com. You can also complain to the UK regulator, the ICO.

Children

This website and taking part are intended for adults — grown-ups write and send the postcards. Contributors should be 16 or older; under-18s only with a parent or guardian's consent. See our Terms & Consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version always lives on this page.
